What did you like about your stay in the property or location?
I had a wonderful stay at Lydons Lodge, made truly special by the exceptional customer service. As a family-run business, it has a genuinely warm and attentive approach that makes you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. The staff were absolutely amazing - Olga, John, and Lisa went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect, and nothing was ever too much trouble for them.
The food was outstanding throughout my stay. The fish at dinner was especially delicious - compliments to the chef for such a beautifully prepared dish. In the morning, the porridge was the perfect start to the day and really set me up for everything ahead.
My room was incredibly comfortable, providing the ideal space for a great night’s rest. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Lydons Lodge to anyone looking for a relaxing, welcoming, and high-quality stay.
What did you not like about your stay in the property or location?
Honestly, I would be picking at straws to find anything I didn’t enjoy about my stay. If I had to mention one very small point, it would be that a small bottle of water in the bedroom might have been a nice added touch. That said, this really wasn’t an issue at all as there was easy access to tap water, so it didn’t impact my stay in any meaningful way. Overall, everything was excellent.
