We’re sure that your time spent with us will be memorable. We serve great
food with the finest local ingredients that are fresh and in season. Service is perfectly executed by our dedicated staff. It is not uncommon to feel the urge to photograph the food plates as they are placed before you!!
All Our meat and fish is sourced locally as it comes into season so our menus change seasonally.
Winter days can be spent relaxing by a cosy log fire.
SAMPLE FOOD MENU
Starters
King prawns & Chorizo marinated in crushed garlic, olive oil and chilli, Focaccia Bread.
Sliced Pastrami, Peppered Salami, Spanish Chorizo, horseradish mayo, Sun dried tomatoes, focaccia bread, honey salted roasted nuts, Black pudding and St. Tola’s goats cheese. Seasonal relish.
Sweet ripe tomatoes drizzled with balsamic reduction, sliced Mozzarella, Garlic, olive oil & basil pesto.
Please ask your server for today’s soup, served with Guinness brown bread.
Fresh seafood, roasted vegetables & finished with Pernod cream.

SAMPLE WINE LIST
White Wine
Nicely fruity and fresh sauvignon blanc. Aromas of tropical, citrus fruits on the nose. Good strong fresh fruits on the palate, with a refreshingly dry finish.
This wine is fresh and rounded in the mouth, with great intensity: the fruit flavors found in the nose mingle with exquisite touches of vanilla and caramel.
Medium bodied with fresh green apple accompanied with pear and zesty lemon, light flower finishing lively and clean with lasting citrus.
Medium intensity. Fresh aromas of citrus fruit juice which leads to a creamy, delicate body with an enveloping fragrance
Light-bodied white wine from the Loire Valley. Muscadet is loved as an excellent food pairing wine due to its minerally, citrus-like taste and high acidity.
This fresh, crisp Marlborough New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc combines some of nature’s best gooseberry and passion fruit notes the palate is soft in style with nicely balanced fruit and acidity.
Red Wine
Fruity and aromatic Chilean wine - It has ripe blackberry and plum aromas with delicate hints of spice and dark chocolate.
A fresh & fruity Cabernet, choc-a-block with blackcurrant, cranberry and plum aromas & flavours. Interest is provided by the smoky, sweet vanilla and toasty oak touches, and the finish has friendly & smooth tannins.
Deep purple-red wine with tempting aromas of dark berries and chocolate. The balance of dark cherry fruit alongside subtle notes of oak, soft tannins and silky smooth texture on the palate is sublime, and makes for an utterly delicious mouthful.
Ripe cherry red colour, its aromas are of plums and red berries with hints of tobacco and vanilla. In the mouth it is alive, velvety and with sweet smooth tannins. The taste that stays in our palate is of red fruits with hints of liquorice and mint.
Produced from very old vines & hand harvested. Pronounced nose of rich berry fruit with hints of vanilla coming through. Full bodied with persistent dark fruit & a warm elegant finish.
A blend of Merlot Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. Forward and attractive with good fruit.
Sparkling Wine
This sparkler will entice you with its fresh apple and pear aromas. Plenty of luscious orchard fruit and floral flavours with sweet citrus.
Small and lively bubbles burst on the tongue. A smooth mousse and subtle wild apple and pear notes exude from the palate with a refreshing lift on the finish.
Distinctively crisp and zesty, the palate shows elegant fruit and the finish
Rose Wine
A splendid raspberry colour, a subtle, distinguished nose of red soft fruit and fresh roses. Heady and round on the palate. Plenty of body with an elegant, lasting fruitiness.

& EVENTS
We have a function room which is tailored to suit all types of events and requirements with a variety of catering packages. The function room has its own bar, as well as a dance floor and space for a band or DJ, it can comfortably seat up to 100 guests or as little as 20.

We were visiting Cong and just walked into this restaurant to have a dinner. The staff was so welcoming and the food was delicious including the fish chowder, steak and seafood pasta.
People in Cong ‘s street told us the food was very good there and that’s true. Chowder, fish, mussels, risotto, hand made bread , everything was fresh and tasty. One of the best restaurants we found in Ireland.
