The Inn was lovely and the staff was very friendly and made the stay incredible for us. The dinner was magnificent. Will definitely return

It was my first time to stay, although I had eaten and drank there many times over the last 20 years. Fabulous rooms and facilities, superb food and very friendly and helpful staff.

We normally stay in a B&B where they had a facility to dry off our wet fishing gear. I didn't ask if such a facility was available or not, but if there was a booklet with the facilities that were available, that would be helpful. Absolutely no complaints

I had a wonderful stay at Lydons Lodge, made truly special by the exceptional customer service. As a family-run business, it has a genuinely warm and attentive approach that makes you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. The staff were absolutely amazing - Olga, John, and Lisa went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect, and nothing was ever too much trouble for them. The food was outstanding throughout my stay. The fish at dinner was especially delicious - compliments to the chef for such a beautifully prepared dish. In the morning, the porridge was the perfect start to the day and really set me up for everything ahead. My room was incredibly comfortable, providing the ideal space for a great night’s rest. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Lydons Lodge to anyone looking for a relaxing, welcoming, and high-quality stay.

Honestly, I would be picking at straws to find anything I didn’t enjoy about my stay. If I had to mention one very small point, it would be that a small bottle of water in the bedroom might have been a nice added touch. That said, this really wasn’t an issue at all as there was easy access to tap water, so it didn’t impact my stay in any meaningful way. Overall, everything was excellent.
